AI consultant, Orewa, New Zealand
Get AI doing the work. Not adding to it.
Most AI rollouts fade because nobody redesigned the work around it. I did that for a living at Lazard and PepsiCo, then spent twelve years building websites for a hundred NZ businesses. Now I find where AI saves your time, set it up, and make it stick. In plain English.

Which one are you?
Running a team or an organisation?
Get AI used across the whole team, not just by the keen one. I assess, I train, and I leave you with people who keep it going after I have gone.
How I work with teamsRunning it mostly yourself?
Get AI doing the boring bits so you can get on with the business. One advisor, no jargon, no shopping list of forty tools.
How I work with ownersWhy it fails
Why most AI rollouts quietly die
Somebody buys the licences, runs a lunch-and-learn, and three months later everyone is back to doing it the old way.
- 01
Bolted on, not built in.
The AI got added to the old process instead of the process being redesigned around it. So it added a step rather than removing one.
- 02
Nobody owns it.
The keen one left, got busy, or got promoted. Nothing in the business made it anyone's job.
- 03
Nobody measured it.
No one wrote down what it was meant to save, so no one noticed when it stopped saving it.
It is not the tool. It is almost never the tool.
I start with the work: what gets done, by whom, in what order, and where the time goes. Then we put AI where it earns its place and take it out where it does not.

About
I'm Kirsty.
Before The Caper I ran IT for Lazard Asset Management in London, then spent six years designing the processes big organisations run on, including the change management process PepsiCo rolled out across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and then the rest of the world. Since 2014 I have built and looked after websites for over a hundred New Zealand businesses from Orewa. The common thread is the same: understand how the work really happens, then make it simpler. AI is just the newest tool for that, and the first one most people have tried to install without a plan.

How I work
Same method, whatever your size.
- 01
Look
I sit with the people doing the work and map what happens, not what the procedure says. For a sole trader that is a conversation. For a team it is interviews and a day on the floor.
- 02
Plan
You get a short written plan with no jargon: where AI saves real time, where it does not, and what to do first. Nothing you do not need.
- 03
Make it stick
Training on your own tasks, not generic prompts. Guidelines people can follow. Someone inside the business who owns it after I leave, or me on call if that someone is you.
